Litigation Associate

The Construction Law Team at Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, located in Sacramento and one of the premier construction litigation practices in California, works on significant and complex construction matters throughout California. We are looking for an associate attorney to join our team with civil litigation experience and a proven record of high academic achievement. He or she will also have a strong understanding of client customer service, a commitment to meeting client expectations and deadlines with high-quality work product, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding writing and analytical skills are required for this position. The candidate must also have substantial experience drafting pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, legal research and motion practice. Construction law experience is desired, but not essential. Compensation for this position ranges from $142,000-$183,000 depending on skills and substantive experience.

Transactional Real Estate Associate

The Real Estate Team at Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, located in Sacramento and one of the premier Real Estate practices in California, works on significant and complex commercial real estate and business transactions throughout California. We are looking for an associate attorney to join our group. The successful candidate will have 1 – 6 years of transactional legal experience in real estate or business and a proven record of high academic achievement, as well as a strong understanding of client customer service and commitment to meeting client expectations and deadlines with high-quality work product. This person will have the skills to determine the steps necessary to complete a project, and follow through on completing those steps. This person will move quickly and efficiently between multiple projects, and enjoy working in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding writing and analytical skills are required for this position.

Experienced Complex Litigation Paralegal

Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP is looking for a full-time litigation paralegal with significant experience managing large collections of ESI. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills, advanced technical skills and the ability to meet deadlines, and work with and organize large volumes of documents in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent computer skills and aptitude are essential. Advanced proficiency with Legal Support Software (preferably IPRO/Eclipse), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and document management systems are required. Familiarity with trial presentation software (such as Trial Director or Sanction), Filesite, Access and Forte is a plus. The successful candidate must be able and willing to learn other software systems that support a litigation practice.

We are looking for someone to multitask in a professional, team environment and who demonstrates a deep commitment to client service and producing a high-quality work product. Compensation for this position ranges from $89,000 – $106,000 depending on skills and substantive experience.
