Overview

Andrew Steiger is an eDiscovery attorney with a practice that focuses on the identification, preservation, collection, production and review of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in construction litigation matters. Andrew represents public entities, private owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties on a wide range of issues within the construction industry, including, complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Murphy Austin, Andrew was an associate attorney with a national securities and business law firm where he drafted contracts for private securities transactions, and submitted regulatory filings for exempt securities offerings. He also performed regulatory compliance research for private fund and RIA clients and reviewed eDiscovery document productions. Prior to that work, he performed legal research to support in-house counsel on large litigation matters at an energy infrastructure company.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Andrew worked as an enterprise strategy and performance analyst, advising pension fund project management teams on change leadership and organizational development initiatives. He also worked as a human resources policy and procedure analyst, where he provided conflict of interest checks under California’s Fair Political Practices laws and performed job analysis related to firefighter examinations.

Andrew received his B.A. in Classics and Humanities/Classical Languages in Ancient Greek and Latin. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where he earned a number two ranking and was named a President’s Scholar.
