April Law’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, including assisting with purchase and sale transactions, leasing, easements, conservation and mitigation transactions, and CC&Rs.
Prior to joining Murphy Austin, April was a Contracts Extern with Harbor Freight Tools USA, Inc., where she researched legal provisions for agreements and recommended updates to keep contracts consistent with industry standards as well as reviewing and revising various contracts, NDAs, and statements of work. After her first year of law school, April worked in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California as a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Dennis M. Cota.
April earned her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law in Malibu, where she received multiple CALI Awards for Highest Course Grade. She received her B.S. with honors in Managerial Economics with a Minor in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
