Murphy Austin is seeking a full-time Human Resources Director. The HR Director administers the Firm benefits, payroll and retirement plan as well manages the attorney recruiting for the Firm.
The successful candidate must be able to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoy working as part of a team as well as be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is extremely well organized, demonstrates a deep commitment to internal and external client service, and produces a high-quality work product. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our business partners is critical.
Keeping in compliance with ever-changing labor laws is mandatory. Experience with the various forms of leave for a 50+ employer is essential.
Excellent computer skills and aptitude are required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, Outlook and payroll systems is necessary. Familiarity with Paylocity and Orion is a plus. The successful candidate must be able and willing to learn other software systems that are used in the HR Director position.
Compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 – $120,000 and is dependent on skills and substantive experience.
