Cruz Rocha practices civil litigation throughout California state courts, with an emphasis on construction law and construction litigation. He represents public entities, private owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties on a wide range of issues within the construction industry, including, complex litigation matters. Cruz has assisted clients in construction matters involving request for proposal and bid processes, payment bonds, warranty claims, enforcement of mechanics liens, contract disputes, fraud and deceit, quite title, dangerous condition of public property, eminent domain, and CERCLA/HSAA.
Cruz was previously with Porter Scott, where he represented construction industry clients in complex legal issues. He has represented public and private clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including trial and arbitration.
Cruz received his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy, and subsequently served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He was awarded his J.D. from University of California, Davis King Hall School of Law in 2011.
